About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse will assist in overseeing the safety of clinical trial participants during study conduct and the maintenance of safety equipment. The Licensed Practical Nurse will execute tasks performed in compliance with study protocol, Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Please note that this is a variable status position. What You'll Do Here Training/mentoring of Clinical Operations team members. Ensure the confidentiality of clinical trial participants and sponsors is respected. Continuously assess safety improvement opportunities and proactively communicate issues and/or problem resolutions to departmental supervisors and managers. Perform clinical trial activities including but not limited to safety assessments and blood collection. Administer medication, perform ECG, and assess vital signs. Monitor, document and/or follow-up on participant adverse events. Maintain and advocate a high level of customer service, quality, and safety within the department. Other tasks assigned by management. What You'll Need to Succeed Vocational Training Health, Assistance & Nursing required. Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ) permit is required Ability to read and interpret technical documents and industry specific manuals. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Bilingual proficiency in French/English required Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Well-developed interpersonal skills are required.
